Agape Lunch

The early Christian community gathered regularly outside of worship, to encourage and uplift one another. One of these gatherings was for a meal, or “love feast”. Common to these gatherings was fellowship, food and prayer.

And so, we would like to extend an ongoing, ancient invitation to fellowship and food- come join in a shared meal, beginning with a prayer and ending with both hearts and bellies full. Each week, people will pick elements of the meal to bring, and then share the full meal together.

Themes will be established ahead of time, but if you are not fond of the food being prepared, you are still invited to bring a bagged lunch and chat. For our first gathering, everyone bring a bagged lunch for themselves and chips will be provided. At our first gathering, we will establish a schedule for meeting (weekly? every 2 weeks? once a month?) and decide on next meeting’s food theme. Come to Fellowship Hall, Fridays at 12pm-1pm, starting February 20th, 2026.
