Women’s Fellowship
Welcome to Women’s Fellowship:
We have a flexible format designed to accommodate busy women. Our goal is to make sure that our crazy schedules do not get in the way of listening for God in our lives and finding lasting friendships with other women in our church family.
Many of our activities have a fundraising focus to help sustain our annual pledge, yearly scholarship, and mission projects. Our next fundraising project is the “Holiday Fair” - November 1st.
Starting Wed. Sept 24th, the Wednesday Crafters will meet each Wednesday evening from 6:30-8pm until Oct. 22nd to make some crafts for the fair. No skills required and fellowship is encouraged. Stop in!
On Saturday Oct. 4th, from 9am-12pm, we will be cutting out and sewing some fleece items for the fair including dog coats and stadium blanket quillows. Bring your sewing machine, or just a good pair for scissors! Muffins and coffee/tea will be served.
Mark your calendars! Our Holiday Fair will be held on Saturday, November 1st. Preparations are already underway, and we’re excited to share a few highlights and needs with you.
🌿 For the Plant Lovers
Last year, donated houseplants started from cuttings were a big hit—we’d love to do it again! We have some small pots ready to use, but we’re looking for more tiny pots if you have them to spare. If you’re propagating “plant babies,” they’ll make a wonderful addition to the fair.
🪴 Donations Needed
Right now, we are especially looking for:
Tiny pots for plant cuttings
Shallow containers (without drainage holes) for forcing paperwhite bulbs
Wide-mouthed mason jars
🎁 Silent Auction Items
It’s time to start gathering treasures for our unique gift silent auction at the fair! If you have a one-of-a-kind item that you think will spark interest and bidding, we’d love to include it. Items can be left in the Women’s Fellowship closet, or we can arrange a pickup if that’s easier.
When donating, please include a suggested minimum bid for your item.
Donations may be placed in the Women’s Fellowship closet off Fellowship Hall. Thank you for your generosity—and thank you to everyone who has already contributed!
And please mark your calendars, the fair will be on November 1st this year!
